The cylinder features a 54 mm bore and as the TE 125 is fuelled via Throttle Body Injection TBI the traditional powervalve is replaced with an innovative electronic exhaust control system Using an actuator the lateral exhaust port and main exhaust port open simultaneously for maximum power Together with a machined finish on the upper contour of the exhaust port engine performance is unrivalled

Throttle body
The electronic fuel injection system on the TE 125 brings many benefits The ECU constantly analyses the running condition of the engine and always guarantees the perfect air fuel ratio through the state of the art 39 mm Keihin throttle body EFI also introduces two different engine maps which can easily be selected via the handlebar mounted switch for a personalised riding experience Map 1 white is designed for technical terrain while Map 2 green is more aggressive and suited to sand and heavier track conditions Additionally the reed valve system is designed to reduce excess fuel build up which prevents a rich running of the engine in extreme downhill sections
