    About Us

    Marsh Powersports wasn’t always the industry giant we are today.
    We started off as MarshMX, a predominately off-road business located in a small retail space, on the high-street of the Welsh Town, Merthyr Tydfil. As the business grew, the brothers secured more and more dealerships it was time for a bigger and better space.
    It was in 2015 the business moved to a 30,000sq ft purpose built showroom, and we gained the title ‘UK’s Largest Off-Road Bike Centre’.

    Anthony and Gareth weren’t ready to stop there. The brothers continued to grow the business, added even more brands, expanding the range to create the shopping destination we are today.
    We now stock the following brands; KTM, Husqvarna, GasGas, Stark Varg, Triumph Off-Road, Honda, Montesa, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Sherco, Can-am, Sea-doo, CFMOTO, TGB, Fantic, SMC, Sur-ron, Talaria Sting, Segway, Kuberg, TM Racing, EM, Reiju, Amped and Revvi.

    OUR HISTORY

    2010

    WHERE WE STARTED

    April 2010 saw the brothers acquired the Former Bob Wilding Motorcycles shop in Merthyr Tydfil, which was an already well-established business which had been trading for over 30 years. In taking over this business MarshMX inherited the Yamaha ATV (Utility) dealership, which was just the start.

    BECOMING A TGB DEALER

    Within a few months of trading the brothers gained a new brand! They become a TGB Main Dealer offering a full range of road legal quad bikes. Which we still stock today.

    2012

    HONDA COME ON BOARD

    The business continued to grow, in 2012 Marshmx become a Honda off-road dealer. This was a major step for the business as it was such a vast range, including youth bikes which we hadn't previously stocked.

    LATER THAT YEAR...

    MORE BRANDS ADDED 

    Later that year the business secured Kawasaki off-road and Yamaha Off-road. The major brands were starting to pay attention, and it was only a matter of time.

    2014

    IT WAS TIME FOR A BIGGER SPACE

    The business was growing at high-speed, and the building was bursting at the seams, therefore it was time to find a new venue. In November 2014 Gareth and Anthony purchase a 30,000sq bare shell unit and work started to design a purpose showroom.

    2015

    OPENING OUR NEW SHOWROOM

    In April 2015 we opened our doors, showcasing the brand new space. A large showroom on one level, with a fully stocked parts, clothing and accessories area, as well as a fully functional workshop. The site also offer parking facilities and a loading bay for deliveries. It was a game changer for the business.

    MORE BRANDS & TRIALS BIKES

    We were delighted to add Sherco and Honda Montesa to our offering. Within these new ranges brought our first trial bike models.

    SECURING HUSQVARNA

    After a year of trading at the new premise Marshmx secured the vast dealership range that is Husqvarna. The range included kids and adult bikes, as well as enduro, trials and motocross.

    IT WAS A BIG YEAR!

    UK’S LARGEST OFF-ROAD BIKE CENTRE

    With all our dealerships under one roof, in our new large space -  it gained us the title of The UK's Largest Off-Road Bike centre

    FUS MARSHMX HUSQVARNA TEAM

    In 2016, we were approached by Mike Keenan about the possibility of coming together to form a race team, and from that day forward we have been a championship winning team! Each year we have grown, developed our team and continued to win. And we have no plan to stop winning at time soon!

    2017

    TM RACING JOINED US

    This was another fantastic addition to our range, as TM Racing has a vast range of bikes across all off-road sports! Now including ETMB!

    LATER THIS YEAR

    CAN-AM DEALERSHIP SSV & ATV

    In December of 2017, Can-am ATV and SSV dealership was secured. This was another extensive range, from 500cc to 1000cc race buggies.

    2018

    SUR-RON HIT THE MARKET

    Sur-ron hit the market running and it was a must have in our range. Ever since these electric off-road and on-road bikes have dominated in their area of the industry.

    2020

    WE SECURED RIEJU

    Rieju received an overhall in 2020 with the brand buying the right to the 'Old GasGas' design. This give Rieju new life, and we were thrilled to get our hands on it.  

    2021

    OUR FIRST STREET BIKES

    In 2021 we took it a step further and introduced street bikes to our offering. Husqvarna launched their Svartpilen and Vitpilen range, and this was our first taste of the road market.

    FOUR MORE BRANDS

    In 2021 we also brought on board four more brands; Suzuki, Segway, Fantic and GasGas which was now under the KTM group. With more vehicles coming it was time to expand...

    EVEN MORE HAPPENED!

    MORE BRANDS, MORE SPACE

    We needed more space, we were closed to the public due to Covid, so we took the opportunity to carry out some work and add a second floor to our showroom. This doubling our floor space, and earning us the title of Europe's Largest Off-Road Bike Centre.

    2022

    We secured the KTM Dealership

    After years of striving to gain the KTM range, allowing us to have all three brands under one room (KTM, Husqvarna & GasGas) we were delighted to finally have the orange bikes in store! We took on the full range, further expanding our offering, and developing our road bike collection.

    We expanded our Can-am offering 

    In 2022, We expanded our Can-Am range, becoming a dealer for their Three wheeler vehicles. We also took on a brand new product from Can-am Sister brand Sea-doo, personal watercrafts.

    2023

    Brand Evolution

    Over the last 13 years our business has evolved. Therefore it was time our brand reflected that. Our range now includes so much more than the motocross bikes we started with. We now stocked street, enduro, trials and motocross bikes, plus ATV’s, SSV’s, watercraft’s and electric vehicles! POWERSPORTS now best describes what we do. We were so excited to finally share the news, that we were now going to be called Marsh Powersports.

    Brand New website

    With our re-brand came alot of exciting changes, one of which including a brand new website. Our goal was for our customers to be able to discover our full offering in one place, browse both new and used vehicles, reserving them online. We also provided a service where you could apply for finance, register your interest, or simply ask for a part exchange deal. We are over the moon with this new communication tool, and it has helped us reach more customers than ever before!

    Winter 2025

    The first of our kind

    In November 2025, we became the first specialist off-road Triumph Dealership! We were so excited for this opportunity, and couldn't wait to see how these new bikes performed!
