JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Workshop Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with various tools and equipment. This role involves performing repairs, maintenance, and assembly of both on-road and off-road Powersport vehicles, while ensuring all work is delivered to a high standard. If you have a passion for working with your hands and solving mechanical issues, we would love to hear from you.
Training opportunities are available with product manufacturers. Candidates must be willing to travel and stay overnight to carry out training.

Responsibilities
• Conduct repairs and maintenance on a variety of Powersports which includes off-road and on-road Motorbikes, Quads as well as watercrafts and electric vehicles.
• Confident in using hand tools and power tools.
• Assemble components according to schematics and technical drawings.
• Perform equipment repairs, ensuring that all work meets safety and quality standards.
• Maintain an organised workshop environment, ensuring tools and equipment are stored correctly.
• Collaborate with team members, when necessary, on larger jobs, or help with problem solving.
• Personal development: Undergo internal and external training when required.

Qualifications
• Proven experience in equipment repair or a similar mechanical role is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various types of vehicles.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation.
• Have a friendly and professional demeanour.
• A proactive approach to maintaining a safe working environment.
• Must be computer literate in order to perform data entry for each vehicle job.
• Full Bike License is preferred but not essential
• BTEC in Mechanics is preferred but not essential

Accounts and Administrative Assistant

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly organized and IT-literate Accounts and Administrative Assistant to join our team at Marsh Powersports. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various administrative and accounting tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our dealership. The successful candidate will work closely with the Accounts Manager, and our dealership contacts to ensure all relevant information is input correctly.

Key Responsibilities:
Answering telephone calls and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
Managing filing systems to ensure documents are organized and easily accessible.
Carrying out vehicle registrations and Nova applications efficiently and accurately.
Maintaining the purchase ledger, including managing purchase orders and inputting invoices.
Keeping the vehicle stock book up to date and accurate.
Managing our internal dealer management system and ensuring data integrity.
Communicating with manufacturers to obtain necessary information for accounts purposes.
Utilizing Excel skills to analyse data and generate reports as required.
Administrative work to help with business health and safety
Assistance in administrative tasks to support the service department

Requirements:
Proficiency in IT with the ability to learn and navigate various software applications.
Previous experience in purchase ledger management is essential.
Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in administrative tasks.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be available to work on-site during scheduled hours.
