    Race Team

    FUS, Marsh Powersports, HondaTeam

    Marsh Powersports has always been passionate about Motocross Racing, its where the love of Powersports started for founders Gareth and Anthony. From a young age racing was a family affair, with the brothers attending local race meets, training to get better. This passion then turned into a business when the brothers started to purchase and sell used and eventually new bikes. Becoming Marshmx, and then the Marsh Powersports we are today.

     

    In 2016, we were approached by Mike Keenan about the possibility of coming together to form a race team, and from that day forward we have been a championship winning team!

    Each year we have grown, developed our team and continued to win. And we have no plan to stop winning at time soon!

    What a weekend the FUS Marsh MX team were to enjoy at Brookthorpe during round three of the AMCA British Motocross Championship! Four out of the five riders on duty scored podium placings and that haul included three glorious overall class victories.Starting in the Open class and on a weekend in which he celebrated his 37th birthday, James Dodd earned the perfect present as he stood on the top step of the podium. James started with a brace of moto wins on day one before scoring a couple of 2nd places during day two of the action. Joining him on the Open class podium was teammate Will Hughes who worked very hard to go 5/3/3/3 for a final 3rd overall.Over in MX2 Henry Williams soared 42 points clear at the top of the Championship standings by taking the Brookthorpe overall victory. After winning both moto’s on the first day of action, Henry then followed Finley Evans home during Sunday’s two clashes to add yet more big Championship points towards his title quest.Starting with a 1/2 on day one at Brookthorpe, Phil Mercer was at his very best on the second day, reeling in leader Jamie Dobson before scoring the moto wins. Just a day before his 55th birthday, Phil also took the overall win and thus extend his lead at the top of the Vets Over 50’s standings.
